Who We Are

Four generations of the Roux family have been producing Cognac and Cognac-based drinks in the Charentes region. Currently the third and fourth generation - Jean-Claude and his son Jean-Pierre - are continuing the family tradition, and producing finest quality Cognac.

Jean-Claude is the producer of the Cognac, following its progress from vine through distillation to maturation. He looks after every detail, from the harvesting of the grapes through selection of spirit, through to cask selection for the appropriate distribution of tannins, and finally he presides over the all-important composition ('assemblage') of the product prior to bottling. His role is critical in the ongoing consistence of quality of each Cognac.

His son, Jean-Pierre, who will eventually take over the family business, helps his father on the production side, but focuses as well on selling and marketing the product range.
